MAGNETRON FEEDING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME

: A magnetron feeding (supply) apparatus has an inverter circuit for converting a DC power supply into highfrequency power and a high-tension transformer for converting the high-frequency power into high-tension power to be applied to the magnetron. An output voltage detecting portion detects the output voltage of the hightension transformer. An input current detecting portion detects the input current into the inverter circuit. A power controlling portion controls the operation of the inverter circuit on the basis of the output voltage information and the input current information. The purpose is to avoid wasted time before the magnetron starts oscillating.
