The lever nail puller consists of a lever bar (1), one lever end of which is designed as a crowbar and the other lever end (2) of which is curved, is tapered to a wedge edge (3) and is provided with a rest (4). The rest (4) carries a joint pin (6) on which a wedge jaw (8), provided with a clamping edge (7), and a supporting jaw (9) are pivotably mounted. When the lever bar (1) is swung out, the pressure on the supporting jaw (9) causes the clamping edge (7) to be pressed against the nail (12) so that the latter is lifted. When the lever bar (1) is swung back, the wedge jaw (8) sinks into the lowermost position, so that the nail (12) is pulled completely out of the beam (14) by successive rocking movements of the lever bar (1). <IMAGE>
