<p>Disclosed is a radio relay system which only requires one frequency channel for a two-way connection between two parties and wherein the called party can, at his discretion, simultaneously reverse the relay direction during an exchange of information. In the single frequency channel provided for a connection of two subscribers the flow of information from the transmitting subscriber (calling party connection) is interrupted at preferably regular chronological intervals for a period which is preferably very brief in comparison with the transmitting time, in order that a return connection may be formed in the form of a time slot channel of a capacity which is low in comparison with the actual frequency channel. Information of the return connection is transmitted in said time slot channel.</p> |
