Purification process for coli enterotoxin

Heat-labile coli enterotoxin is extracted and purified by means of affinity chromatography by using a gel support to which amphipathic substances are covalently bonded. The gel preferably consists of insolubilised agarose or polyacrylamide, and the amphipathic substances preferably of amphipathic lipids, such as phosphoglyceride or glycolipid.
