LOW TEMPERATURE BRIGHT NICKEL AND BRIGHT NICKEL ALLOY PLATING A method of obtaining satisfactory bright electrodeposits of nickel, nickel-cobalt and nickel-iron while minimizing the amount of energy necessary to heat the plating bath to a suitable plating temperature is provided which comprises controlling the basic plating bath formulation, including addition agents, and electrodepositing the desired metal at a temperature ranging from about 85.degree.F to 115.degree.F.
