Fan for drying chamber for drying wood - is mounted with its axis inclined to side wall of the drying chamber

A drying chamber for drying wood, which is arranged in a stack (G), has a side wall (1) which supports a fan (2). The fan (2) is mounted so that its axis is inclined to the wall at an angle lying between 25 deg. and 50 deg. A heating element (5) is installed between the fan inlet and the side wall (1) and is so arranged that the gap between heating element (5) and fan decreases in the direction going from the side wall towards the stack of wood (G). A heat exchanger (3) with a large surface area is mounted on support plate (7) adjoining the fan support plate. A spray nozzle (4) is mounted on the heat exchanger. USE/ADVANTAGE - Drying wood. Mounting the fan with its axis inclined results in a more compact installation.
