A school blackboard cleaner is used for the quickest possible cleaning of a blackboard without chalky water dripping onto the floor and blackboard ledge. Attached to one end portion of a rod-shaped handle (4) is a cleaning sponge (1) and in parallel therebehind, at the end of the handle (4), is a water-wiper blade (2). The water wiped up flows into a drip-catching sponge (3) fastened, in the use state of the cleaner, to the lower end of the water-wiper blade (2). In this manner, cleaning of the school blackboard takes place in a single working step with the school blackboard cleaner containing all the required aids (1, 2, 3, 4). <IMAGE>
