A circular saw blade for cutting material, such as asphalt or reinforced concrete, has a steel core (1) with radial slots (2) cut in its periphery. The slots (2) are separated by radial teeth (4) and the slots are so arranged that the teeth (4) are alternately wide and narrow in the circumferential direction. The outer edges of the teeth have diamond or hard metal coatings which are brazed to the steel core. The narrower teeth have a single area (5) of diamond or hard metal coating whilst the wider teeth have several such areas (6). USE/ADVANTAGE - Circular saw blade for cutting concrete. The shape of the diamond cutting edges facilitates the flow of cooling water.
