PURPOSE:To readily press the axial hole of a pole piece according to a method of forging it in resource-saving manner by forging cylindrical slag into pawl piece and bearing portion, pressing its axial hole, and simultaneously bending the pawl piece. CONSTITUTION:a lower axial hole 104a is forwardly extruded at a cylinderical slag 200, and a flat portion 300 is upset thereat with the hole 104a retained as it is. After the flat portion 300 is further laterally extruded to form the base 101 of predetermined thickness and a pawl piece 103a around the base 101, the axial hole is pressed to form an axial hole 104 and the peripheral pawl portion 103a is bent axially to form the pawl piece through shaping process. Thus, the axial hole 104 can be simply extruded to thereby utilize a method of forging it in resource-saving manner. |
