PURPOSE:To facilitate automation by providing a pair of connecting elements which connect groups of lead plates at an each open-end of the channel-shaped plates as well as providing ears between each group of the lead plates. The ear has a locating hole. CONSTITUTION:Groups of lead plates 33 that are to be placed inside a package are connected to a pair of connecting elements 31 and 32 being provided along the longitudianl direction of a lead frame. Ears 34 and locating holes 35 are formed between each group of the lead plates 33. This constitution facilitates shearing process and chip disposal in an automated line. It also facilitates automation because the locating holes do not move, thus enabling precise positioning. |
