PURPOSE:To make it possible to read optically inputted information and also to take a look at it definitely by using a sheet information recording medium on which inputted information can be viewed for confirmation by a transmissive part and untransmissive part of a read beam. CONSTITUTION:Information input unit 1 is provided with reflecting surface 9, which reflects beam 2, sticking hermetically to surface 10 of sheet information recording medium 5 for inputted information displayed for confirmation by transmissive part 3 and untransmissive part 4 of read beam 2, and half-mirror 12 through which information can be viewed 11 from the side opposite to optical reader 8. While projector 15 of reader 8 is emitting beam 2, reader 8 is moved along reverse surface 6 of medium 5 in the direction of arrow 17. Since beam 2 is absorbed and scattered when striking untransmissive part 4, little reflected beam 7 reaches photo detector 16. When beam 3 strikes transmissive part 3, beam 2 passes through medium 5, reflects on reflecting surface 9 of mirror 12 and reaches photo detector 16. Further, an operator can take a look at the confirmation display of medium 5 through mirror 12 definitely. |
