PURPOSE:To improve the dynamic range of non-linearity and frequency characteristics by making use of the non-linear resistance of the emitter of a transistor and also by making a push-pull connection. CONSTITUTION:Alternating-current signals, distributed out of phase from input terminal 1 by input distributor 2, are added again by output synthesizer 5 to obtain the output at output terminal 6, but transistors TR3 and TR4 operating as a non- linear element are connected between distributor 2 and synthesizer 5. As a result, the alternating-current signal drops in voltage by the non-linear resistance and the input-output characteristics of this circuit are unsaturated and non-linear while the frequency characteristics of its distortion output result in high-band characteristics. In addition, since TRs 3 and 4 are common-base circuits, they operate stably at a high frequency and the level relation between the secondary and ternary distortions can freely be set by the balance adjustment of push-pull. An excellent non-linear compensation circuit can therefore be constituted by using this circuit. |
