PURPOSE: To cut in an interrupted fashion the first and second cutting lines of the desired line in work material made of sheet material and to completely separate from each other the portions of the work material located on both sides of the desired line. CONSTITUTION: A first cutting line 79 is cut slightly beyond an interruption point B along an end path 81 and a second cutting line is cut from behind the interruption point B along a start path 86 to cause the end path 81 and the start path 86 to cross each other.
