PURPOSE:To provide an ink jet printer head and fabrication thereof in which delivery of ink is increased and an electrode can be formed inexpensively. CONSTITUTION:A highly rigid substrate 1, an adhesive layer 15 and a piezoelectric board member 2 polarized in depthwise direction are jointed, a plurality of grooves 3 communicating with the interior of the adhesive layer 15 are made in the surface of the piezoelectric member 2, an electrode 8 is jointed to the groove 3 over the entire surface thereof, the groove 3 is closed by means of a top board 10 to form a pressure chamber 14, and the rigidity of a support 4 on the side of the adhesive layer 15 resisting against distortion of the support 4 on the side of the piezoelectric member 2 is set low thus increasing distortion of the support 4. Furthermore, the electrode 8 is formed through nonelectrolytic plating in order to prevent occurrence of pinhole. |
