PURPOSE: To provide a clip having a U shaped cross section for connecting two pieces of a conveyer belt using staples that can be installed by a cheap press device with a simple structure. CONSTITUTION: Two openings 13, 15 are arranged in a U shaped foot part 3 of a clip 1 corresponding to a top end 9 of a staple 8. The openings 13, 15 are interconnected by a ditch 14 in outer face of the U shaped foot part 3. In this case, while pressing the staple 8, the top part 9 of the staple passes through the opening 13, goes out, then passes through the ditch 14 and the opening 15 and is bent to return back to the interior of the clip 1. |
