PURPOSE:To provide a vibration reducing device which prevents abnormal vibration of a compressor owing to coincidence of frequencies of transport vibration and a starting operation with the resonance frequency of the compressor. CONSTITUTION:A compressor 1 is constituted in such a way that the it is installed on a mounting base plate 6 through a damping member 5 and its vibration is damped by a damping member 5. Compressor constraining means 3a-3c mounted on the mounting base plate 6 are provided in the compressor 1. The moving part of a compressor constraining means 3 is forced into pressure contact with the compressor 1 to constrain operation of the damping member 5 until an operation frequency during the stop and the start of the compressor 1 exceeds the resonance frequency of the compressor. At a point of time when an operation frequency exceeds the abovementioned resonance frequency, a moving part is released from pressure contact to the compressor 1 to restore operation of the damping member 5. As a result, the occurrence of vibration owing to coincidence between operation frequencies during transport and a starting and a resonance frequency is suppressed. |
