The flow regulator has an adjustable valve which can be hand set by means of threaded spindle. The fluid passes to a compound valve having three cylinders. One is subjected to the supply pressure andone to the reduced pressure from the valve. This valve has a return spring and may be subjected to external pressure. The final stage has a spring loaded piston valve with a single acting piston. The stabilised fluid is discharge from this valve.
