<p>A device for controlling the water supply to a pot plant consists of an annular chamber which surrounds the pot. This annular chamber has an upper compartment with a filler hole for a screw plug (3). When the plug (3) is screwed upwards, a valve (2) at the lower end of a rod connected to the plug, shuts off this upper compartment. When the upper comparment is filled with water, the plug (3) is screwed down and opens the valve (2) allowing the water to flow into a syphon (5) in the base which controls the flow to the porous surface of the flower pot where the water is absorbed.</p> |
