Car antitheft system - has barrel-type combination lock to control operation of switch which cuts out electrical system

The vehicle antitheft device cuts off the electrical system using a shaft (2) controlled by a button (3) and a lock. A barrel-type switch (5) is driven by a spring (10) operated washer (9) on the end of the control shaft. The switch is a cylinder with openings (6) around part of the circumference. These openings expose the setting discs of a combination lock. The barrel is non conducting and carries a set of contacts.
