Post processor for coherent pulse radar Doppler shadow - furnishes characteristic values of Doppler shadow in principal and auxiliary spectrum domains

The method of post processing a Doppler shadow provided by a Fourier transform computer of a coherent pulse radar obtains for each distance gate three values M0, M1, M2 which also permits the determination of the three first method also permits the determination of the three first instants of the shadow. the method recognises the presence of the Doppler shadow as a fringe of the principal spectral domain analysed by the Fourier transform computer. It provides the values M0, M1,1=M1 and M2=M2,1 characteristics of the Doppler shadow contained in the principal spectrum domain if the shadow is not recognised in the fringe of the principal spectrum domain. It provides the values M0, M1=M1,2 and M2=M2,2 characteristics of the Doppler shadow in an auxiliary spectrum domain of the shadow is recognised in a fringe of the principal spectrum domain. The auxiliary spectrum domain is obtained by translation of the principal domain.
