<p>The homogeneous plate is made of synthetic material based on PVC and treated to its surface has fine longitudinal scores with microfibres, i.e. a fluffy surface. The scores form both projections and recesses on the plate. The plate pref. also contains grooves for riffles, which may be removable or glued to the plate, and the scores in the plate are pref. parallel with the direction of vibration. The plate is pref. first treated with pumice or sandpaper to form the microfibres, followed by scoring to obtain micro-riffles parallel with the direction of vibration and direction of flow of the prods; and the plate is pref. 5-30 mm thick, and can be fixed in a removable manner to the metal structure of the table. Conventional vibrating tables for the concn. of ores can only treat particles with a size above ca. 200 mu m, and are unsuitable for treating fines with size 50 mu m. The invention provides plates for the gravimetric treatment of fine particles.</p> |
