<p>PURPOSE:To provide the title resin composition having iridescent surface luster and a low heat shrinkability, and suitable to the bottles of food, drinks, cosmetics, etc., composed of a thermoplastic polyester resin, a methacrylic resin, and a styrene resin. CONSTITUTION:(A) 4-96 Wt% of a thermoplastic polyester resin wherein >=75 mol% of the component is ethylene terephthalate, (B) 2-94 wt% of a methacrylic resin such as those obtained by the polymerization of methyl methacrylate, etc., and (C) 2-94 wt% of a styrene resin such as polystyrene, are mixed together by a V-blender, etc., and pelletized by an exturuder. The weight ratio of C/B is pref. >=0.6. EFFECT:Bottles having uniform iridescent luster, and free from irregular flow marks, can be obtained independent of the molding conditions.</p> |
