CLEANING METHOD OF CATALYST

PURPOSE:To remove water-soluble impurities present in catalyst by housing hydrogen-oxygen recombination catalyst in autoclave and then by passing overheated water through it. CONSTITUTION:A catalyst housed in the can 3 is put in the autoclave 1 and then an approx. 80 deg.C hot water is passed through the heating pipe 4 provided in the autoclave. On the other hand, when overheated steam is sent into the autoclave 1 through the pipe 5, the hot water present in the heating pipe 5 and the branched pipes 7 is heated to 140 deg.C or more and then enters into the can 3 to clean the catalyst. The washing water is then overflowed from the can 3 and then taken out of the trap 6.
