<p>An ampulla, made of polyethylene, for medicaments is joined by thin tear-off straps to others to form a continuous row. The closing caps fit over the ampulla necks with an inner plug and an outer collar. The edges of the necks are well rounded. This eliminates the jagged edge of ampulla necks which is caused when they are broken off to open them. Injuries to mucous membranes, e.g. when inserting an ampoule neck in the nose, cannot occur.</p> |
