The owered travelling revolving ladder unit has a rescue or working cage, for optional suspension on the tip of the ladder or deposited and hung from holders in the turntable frame. These holding positions are on the sidepiece (8) of the frame (7) oposite to the sidepiece (a) for the ladder's operating position of the extensible ladder (12). The cage (11) is held in place by quick locking devices so that the intervals between its base and the vehicle's (1) standing plane remain constant in the deposited position on the frame and in the position on the ladder tip. This enables the cage to be brought into the operative or deposited position very quickly and easily.
