PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform anaysis without using a pi-phase plate, by fastening tight an area-type chart plate with a polarizing plate consisting of two kinds of linear polarizing plates and irradiating circularly polarized single-color light and operating Fourier transformation by means of a Fourier transformation lens. CONSTITUTION:Area-type chart plate 10, which has transformed the primary signal of a spectrum is fastened tight with polarizing plate 11 consisting of two kinds of linear polarizing plate, 11a and 11b, in which the directions of polarization are at right angles to each other so that the boundary part coincides with the line of zero level of chart plate 10. To this are irradiated circularly polarized single-color parallel rays of light RL. Fourier transformation is performed by means of a fourier transformation lens. On its transformation surface P2 are placed slit plate 14, which opens in the direction of the above-described line of zero level, and linear light detecting plate 13, in which the direction of polarized light is inclined pi/4 with respectect to polarizing plate 11. The light that has passed through is scanned by light receiver 15. By this structure, it is possible to analyze the spectrum of a primary signal, such as an interferogram obtained by the method of interference alalysis, whithout using a pi-phase plate, which is difficult to construct. |
