Air cooling system for tractor engine - has air duct and filter mounted on hinged engine cover and linked to engine by flexible connector

The tractor engine is fitted with a hinged cover (24). The front of the cover is fitted with an air filter (11) and the hollow space behind the filter is linked to the engine fan (19) by a flexible duct (20) which can be removed for access to the engine. The duct is braced on the tractor frame by elastic couplings for a rattle free mounting. The system provides good cooling and a sound proofed operation.
