High performance of electrodynamic transducers, esp. loudspeakers, is obtained by deriving a control signal without using special transducers or mechanical modifications. The signal is proportional to the speed of the membrane, as indicated by the emf induced during the pauses in the pulse width modulated signals. The switches (3), e.g. V-MOSTS trigger the bridge (1) of which the loudspeaker (2) forms one arm. The resultant voltage (Uz) and the signal voltage (Us) are fed to a differential amplifier (4). After filtering (5, 6) the output goes to the push-pull pulse width modulator (7) which triggers the switches (3).
|
