<p>PURPOSE:To improve the working effectiveness at the time of flange joining work as well as to enhance the sealing performance in a sealing construction of an enclosed type opening/closing device, especially in an O-ring groove formed in the flange part of a metal case. CONSTITUTION:Block units designed to be arranged apart from each other in an enclosed type opening/closing device for ex., are connected to each other through a flange insulation 12, which forms a flange 21 at the end of a metal case 23. These flanges 21, 21 are fastened firmly with bolts 24 and nuts 25 with a spacer 20 of solid insulating substance interposed. In this case, an O-ring groove 20a excavated in the spacer 20 to be joined with the flange 21, is composed of a large-volume part 20a1 and a small-volume part 20a2 and formed convex, and an O-ring 28 fitted in this O-ring groove 20a shall have sufficient flexibility into the one similar to the abovementioned groove's 20a profile when it is in function.</p> |
