<p>The roof hook is for suspension of a roof ladder, as used by tilers and others in repair work. It has a straight support shank, and a hook-shaped holding shank (5) for the ladder. It has a movable fixture device (6) fitted to it, for a catch cable or similar, this device is attached to the support shank (1). It can be in the form of two movably connected components, one firmly attached to the roof hook and the other serving to fasten the cable; it has two chain links (7, 8). This serves the dual purposes of attaching roof ladders and catch wires.</p> |
