In a seawater desalination system, the seawater is channeled from the coast to inland consumers in V-shaped channels. Woven tissue absorbs the water and this is turned into vapour under a semicircular transparent dome cover. The fresh water condenses and is collected along the sides. This system supplies drinking water for users away from the coast line. It causes a minimum of disturbance to the environment.
