In the watchcase with flat removeable polygonal glass, the glass (1a) extends up to the edge of the case, except on two edges, where it is held between projecting parts (3) of the case. The glass is secured between the parts (3) by cylindrical pins (6) engaged into corresponding passages (7, 8) formed half within the case and half within the glass. The glass and the pins (6) are secured in place transversally by the pressure that the fittings (10, 11) exert on the glass. The rough walls of the passages (7, 8) and of the pins which are softer than the case and the glass, increase the blocking effect of the fittings (10, 11). A mask and the edge of the glass, extending up to the right angle inner face of the raising (14) masks the fitting (11). The sides of the glass secured to the case may also be curved. |
