The pipe connection piece is intended for use with ceramic pipes and has a spigot at one end and a socket at the other. It has a constant outside dia. over its full length between the two ends. The wall thickness of the socket end may be equal to that of the spigot end. The connector may be formed by extrusion in a cored mould, the lower end containing a plate partly closing that end to form the socket end of the connector. The inner space of the mould has a cylindrical wall whilst the plate is slidable along the longitudinal axis.
