Flue gas flap actuating mechanism - has thermal expansion compensated frame to mount shafts with rotatable hubs carrying actuator brackets

The flue flap system has a number of rotating flaps held on a common frame actuated by coaxial shafts. A compensator ensures that all rotating flaps are automatically held closed. Each connecting arm (5, 6), and a fixed carrier assembly, is held on a rotating shaft (1, 2, 3) which carries the flaps along in opening direction by means of stop held on the carrier. A flap is carried along by means of springs. Each rotating flap shaft has a freely rotating hub for accommodating the actuating bracket. This hub has a lever carrying the spring plate and bolts resting on the fixed stop of the carrier.
