PURPOSE:To stabilize liquid of a recording medium and enable it to improve responsiveness or to record continuously for a long time by constructing walls, for feeding portions for the liquid of a recording medium and a recording head, to be covered with a gas-absorbing material. CONSTITUTION:Wall surfaces contacting directly with liquid of a recording medium, for example, wall surfaces for a reserve tank 6, a feed pipe 8a, an inlet 3 for a recording head 1 and a room 4 or an inner wall surface of a discharging orifice 5, are constructed to be covered with a gas absorbing material. This method does not affect badly to the characteristics of the liquid of the recording medium compared with a method of adding a gas-absorbing third component into the medium liquid, consequently, long time reservation thereof may be enabled. The gas-absorbing materials, concretely, are active carbon, zeolite, alumina, silica gel and the like which absorb O2, N2, CO2 or the like resolving in the medium liquid. |
