A large scale integrated circuit chip (38) for an electronic organ system is provided which produce chords (40, 44) and bass frequency (36) generation (12, 16) and identification (98), It automatically ccordinates with another chip in rhythm production (88, 90). It incorporates frequency generators (12, 16), identifies a chord played (98), and provides keyers (20, 22, 24, 26) for chord notes.
