PURPOSE:To obtain an electronic watch which is capable of maintaining the dischage reaction of an air cell for a long period of time and has superior waterproofness and ease of handling by so constructing the same that the air cell receives the supply of air freely from the outside of the case and is able to receive replenishment of water content with ease. CONSTITUTION:Screwing a battery cover 2 to a case 1 compresses the packing 6 by way of the collar part 4a of a holding member 4, thus assuring the waterproofness at this portion. In addition, an air cell is contained via ring-form packing 5 in the space of the holding member 4. Since the packing 5 is compressed by the lateral outside wall of the air cell 3 and the lateral inside wall of the holding member 4, waterproofness is assured between the anode 3b face side and cathode 3c face side of the air cell. Hence, air is supplied through the through-hole 2b of the battery cover 2 to the air cell 3 and, when necessary, water content is supplied to the air cell 3 through the through-hole 2b without entering to the movement side, thus the discharge reaction of the air cell 3 may be maintained for a long period of time. |
