PURPOSE:To avoid the unclearness of message at the beginning, by connecting the response tape in waiting condition to telephone line through the operation of the tape switch when the callout signal is incoming, and stopping the tape for a given time. CONSTITUTION:The tape switch is operated with the callout signal from telephone line, the message recorded on the response tape is delivered, and the message of the caller is recorded on the recording tape. In this case if the caller uses a public phone, the pay tone signal is caused when the line is connectd to make unclear the beginning of the message. Thus, to avoid it, the unit is provided with the pay tone pause circuit 67 interlocking with the tape switch 21 and motor control ciccuits 30 and 38. When the signal is incoming, first the tape 20 is run to connect it to line and the tape 20 is stopped for a given time.Thus, the tape 20 is stopped while the pay tone signal is present, and after that, the run is started to deliver the message. |
