<p>A 4-jaw work holding chuck the jaws of which are adjustable in oppositely disposed pairs, each pair of jaws being adjustable towards or away from each other simultaneously by a respective one of a pair of adjusting screws. A sleeve is located on at least one end of at least one of the adjusting screws between that screw and the associated jaw. The sleeve is internally screw threaded so as to engage the screw thread at the aforementioned end of its associated screw. The sleeve is externally screw threaded to engage the associated jaw, so that rotation of the sleeve provides a differential adjustment of its associated jaw relative to the opposite jaw independent of the adjusting screw.</p> |
