PURPOSE:To allow very easy matching of resonance frequency in the directions of x and y axes by fixing the zero displacement position of an oscillator, at least two ridge parts thereof, to different points on a supporting wire. CONSTITUTION:An oscillator 1 has square cross-section, for example. Ridge parts 1a, 1b located in the x and y axis directions are spot welded, for example, to a supporting wire 5 comprising a metal wire welded to a fixed board 4 thus supporting the oscillator 1 at two points in the casing. The oscillation gyro is of a tuning fork type having the opposite free ends and the oscillator 1 is welded at zero displacement points with two supporting wires 5. Since the oscillation can be balanced in both x and y axis directions, the resonance frequencies can be matched easily in x and y axis directions and ideal conditions for the supporting means of oscillation gyro are satisfied. Alternatively, piezoelectric transducers for driving and detection may be stuck to the x and y axis planes. |
