Aircraft radome measurement device - uses test and counter aerials with test aerial rotating in opposite direction to radome

A device for measurement of radomes involves test and counter antennae or aerials. They enable accurate squint error measurement over a wider range than with conventional devices. The device is simply constructed and easy to operate. The test antenna need not be mounted directly on the radome frame so as to rotate with it. The counter antenna (3) is fixed. The t test antenna (1) and radome (2) rotate about a common axis (4) with the same angular speed but in opposite directions. The counter antenna remains permanently in the main radiation direction of the test antenna.
