The safety mechanism has a user checking system which contains a manually operated code generator with a group of operating elements which can be manually actuated selectively, in order to generate electrical output signals. The signals reproduce a code defined by the selective operation of the operating elements. A comparator device checks the code contained on the object with the manually generated code. The comparator may have a signal output device at which an output signal is generated only if the comparison between the two codes is positive. The operating elements may be accommodated in a keyboard. |
