A hot dust filter consists of several bags, each on a cylindrical holder which is mounted in holes of the tube plate and extends into the dust laden gas chamber. A flexible wire mesh sleeve around the holder supports firmly the tubular filter bag which is made of permeable and highly porous material. Such a bag filter has a long service life under hot gas conditions. The filter bag has adequate resistance during the backflushing periods by compressed air. The filtering efficiency is very high. |
