The washer attachment comprises a perforated tube clipped to the side of the windscreen wiper blade and linked to the washer fluid pump. The far end of the pipe is sealed by a plastics plug and the narrow holes are positioned to provide optimum coverage of the glass. Additional jets are provided at the bends of the tube to spray along the line of the wiper blade. The holes are produced in the tube by special punches while the tube is held in a clamp rig. The tube is bent to provide a self supporting shape as well as to provide additional support for the wiper blade.
