The therapy instrument is for human beings or animals, having a metal portion in the form of an unclosed belt placed round the body or limb. It incorporates a flexible supporting belt (1) of non-metallic, electrically insulating material and with a buckle (2). This supports the metal portion (3) on the inside when applied to the skin. The supporting belt is an arm strap and of plastic fibre, woven or knitted. The buckle can be of electrically insulating material, or covered with it, and the metal portion can be a wire coil, whose lengthwise axis runs parallel to that of the supporting belt.
