An electrical distribution panel 10 is constructed with an insulating base 20 formed by extrusion. Also extruded with the base 20 are two rows of circuit breaker mounting ledges 21, 22, hook formations 23, 24 for each of the mounting ledges 21, 22 to mechanically secure circuit breakers 63 at the load ends thereof, and channel defining formations 26 to slidably receive neutral bars 58, 59 disposed outboard of each of the mounting ledges 21, 22. Forming the base 20 by extrusion allows a single extrusion die to be used in making panels of different lengths. <IMAGE> |
