The invention relates to a process for the production of fibrous structures starting from polymeric compounds, said process comprising preparing a substantially homogeneous phase of the compound of which one wants to obtain said structure, mixing said phase with at least another substantially homogeneous phase of at least another compound incompatible with the former for chemical nature, molecular weight or physical structure, said second compound being in amount lower than 50% by weight of the first compound with intrinsic viscosity at 25.degree.C in toluene equals to 0.36.
