A flat plate shaped discharge electrode for collecting dusts from factory exhausting gas, was comprised of a flat plate disposed in parallel to the gas flow within E.P. chamber, two channel members riveted to each flat plate for preventing it from warping along its both ends, and needleshaped members, which each one has a sharp point on its one end & a blunt point on the other end, welded on the outside surface of the channel member with the blunt point of the needle member in a line at equal spaces.
