A system is disclosed for controlling the temperature of rooms in a building comprising curtain walls having a metal skeleton (3) made up of columns and horizontal members to which facade elements and window elements are secured, and in particular for controlling the effects by which persons within such rooms and located adjacent such columns and horizontal members may feel undue heat or cold due to heat radiation exchange between the person and such columns or horizontal members. In the system, a pipeline system 20, 21 in which a heat transmitting fluid flows is disposed inside each room concerned adjacent the metal skeleton 3 and is aligned relative to the skeleton 3 so as to produce thermal coupling between the skeleton 3 and the pipeline system.
