Figure or animated images projector - has images stores as dots in disc, and uses rotating mirrors

The projection system is for images formed by holes and slots in a rotatable disc. The light source (1) may be 1000W halogen lamp with an associated condenser lens (2) between it and the image disc (3). The disc is fitted within a cogged rim (3b) which can be driven from a motor (5). The image is reflected from a rotatable mirror (7) through a photographic objective to a further rotatable mirror (10) and then to the opaque screen. Both mirror drives are variable and reversible the rotation speed being between 20 to 25 turns per second.
